The first group of black-headed gulls have arrived in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, from Siberia to spend the winter, local media outlets reported on Nov 13.

Yuantouzhu scenic spot near Taihu Lake is the most popular place in the city to watch the birds, especially during December, the best time for birdwatching.

Three other scenic spots in the city – the Three Kingdoms City, Lihu Lake, and Bogong Island – also allow visitors to interact intimately with birds.
