The documentary "Ice World" recently won the prestigious Best Documentary Golden Angel Award at the 19th Chinese American Film Festival in Los Angeles.

The documentary was co-produced by the Publicity Department of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, the Publicity Department of the CPC Harbin Municipal Committee, Heilongjiang Broadcasting and Television Bureau, and Heilongjiang Film Studio.

"Ice World" is a cinematic masterpiece that runs for 85 minutes. Production began in 2019 and took four challenging years to complete.

Documenting and interviewing over 10,000 frontline ice builders, "Ice World" presents the true and awe-inspiring 60-year journey of Harbin's ice construction history, from the first Zhaolin Park Ice Lantern Festival in 1963 to the current Harbin Ice and Snow World.

The documentary celebrates the relentless spirit of these builders who defy the bitter cold, venture into the unknown, and dedicate themselves to their work while exercising remarkable innovation.

It unveils the abundant natural ice and snow resources and deeply entrenched ice culture of China's northern region, successfully promoting Harbin's ice culture worldwide.

"Ice World" has already obtained public screening permission and will soon be treating cinema audiences around the globe.
