One of the listed natural landscapes is the Nantong Langshan Mountain National Forest Park, which is located north of the mouth of the Yangtze River. It is composed of Langshan Mountain, Maan Mountain, Huangni Mountain, Jianshan Mountain and Junshan Mountain, so it is also called the Five Mountains area. Now, it has become an ecological green corridor and "urban living room" of Nantong.

Among the listed historical and cultural landscapes is the Shuihui Garden, which was the former residence of the gifted scholar Mao Pijiang and the popular courtesan Dong Xiaowan during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The garden consists of ancient architecture, a Rugao-style bonsai garden, the Rugao Longevity Museum, a zoo and an amusement park.
