The 2023 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) - China (Longyou) Rally Championship (CRC) will be held in Longyou county, Quzhou from Oct 27 to 29.

The event, approved by the General Administration of Sport of China and Federation International Automobile and supported by the Sports Bureau of Zhejiang Province, is hosted by the China Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation and co-organized by the Quzhou sports bureau and Longyou people's government.

The rally, which is being held for the first time in three years, attracted 800 participants, including 31 teams, 92 cars, and 184 drivers and navigators from home and abroad.

The rally consists of four stages. The total route is about 533 kilometers, and the competition section is about 149 km. The Longyou section is famous for its many bends, sharp turns, and steepness.

The first China Rally Championship was held Longyou in 2003, and the APRC China Station was officially established in Longyou in 2006. Longyou hosted the APRC for the 13th time and the CRC for the 16th time this year.

Longyou holds the most rally events of any place in China. Movie star Jimmy Lin, writer and director Han Han, and Olympic champions and world champions such as Yang Ling, Li Na, and Mo Huilan have all participated in the rally as drivers in Longyou.

A representative of the Longyou government said that the rally has become an important tourism and culture attraction for the local area. It has also utilized its sports resources to develop related cultural tourism industries and form a distinctive industrial chain. The Longyou County G60 Automobile Theme Park, an important venue for the rally, has become a popular off-road driving destination in East China.
