The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Saturday unveiled a draft plan which aims to expand the opening up of the telecommunications services.
The draft plan, published by the ministry on its official website, said more efforts will be made to encourage private enterprises to participate in business and service innovation such as mobile communication resales, promoting the reform of satellite internet business access system step by step, and continuously expand the channels and scope for private enterprises to participate in telecommunications business operations.
The ministry will explore pilot projects in areas such as free trade ports, and expand the opening up of value-added telecommunications services, according to the plan.
The draft plan was published to solicit public feedback until November 6th.
