Quebec Research Center launched in Shandong

The Shandong-Quebec Bilateral Talks and the inauguration ceremony of the Quebec Research Center were held in Jinan, East China's Shandong province, on Sept 25. Chen Baiwei, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Province, and Alan Sans Cartier, a government official from Quebec, delivered speeches at the ceremony.

Xiang Ping, vice-president of Ludong University, explained the current circumstances of Ludong University and the overall development plan for the Quebec Research Center. She stated that Ludong University has attached great importance to deepening exchanges and cooperation with Quebec province.

She added that the Quebec Research Center will provide a broader platform for talent cultivation and academic and economic exchanges between China and Canada.

Over the years, Ludong University has attached great importance to regional studies and think tank research and has produced a large number of high-level scientific research achievements. The Quebec Research Center in Shandong province is a provincial-level regional research institution established by Ludong University and is expected to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Quebec and Shandong provinces.
