The final of the Liangjiang New Area Craftsmanship Competition was held on Sept 23, with 120 finalists participating.
Since its official launch in July, the competition has attracted 21 well-known automobile companies such as Chang'an Auto and Chang'an Ford, as well as 13 electronic industry leaders such as BOE and China Telecom, with a total of 53 companies and 408 participants – a record high.
"Intelligent connected vehicles are where the industry is heading and will be our future focus. This competition has provided me with an opportunity to communicate and learn from my peers, and I have learned a lot," said He Bin, an engineer at Chang'an Auto's intelligentization research institute, at the event's intelligent connected vehicle technology demonstration site.

After more than seven hours of intense competition, six first prize winners, 12 second prize winners, 18 third prize winners, 18 outstanding prize winners, and six group prize winners were rewarded. For the first time in the history of the competition, a special craftsmanship star award was given to three outstanding participants with exceptional comprehensive abilities.
