The 23rd China International Industry Fair (CIIF) kicked off on Sept 19 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. This year's CIIF spans 300,000 square meters and features over 2,800 manufacturing enterprises from 30 countries and regions. The event will run for five days and end on Sept 23.

Themed on digital economy and industrial decarbonization, the fair has seen a significant increase in booths featuring new energy vehicles and environmentally friendly materials, with green products becoming a new trend at the exhibition.

One standout exhibitor, BBCA Biochemical, produces biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) from agricultural residues like corn stalks and potato straws. This innovation addresses the pollution caused by the burning of crop residue. "The carbon footprint of PLA is about one-tenth that of traditional petroleum-based materials," said Zhou Ning, deputy director of BBCA Biochemical.

The fair offers a platform for companies to display technological advancements in carbon reduction. Jaka Robotics, for instance, is showcasing a dynamic display of 16 robotic arms dancing in sync, representing energy conservation and carbon reduction through OTA smart service platforms.

Digitalization is currently affecting every aspect of the supply chain, and Xinfangsheng Group released its digital supply chain management platform for the first time at the fair. The platform integrates procurement processes and improves efficiency through intelligent technology.

In the "Information and Communication Technology Show" exhibition zone, Shanghai INESA showcased the main line of the group's digital transformation through a combination of digital content and hardware products.

"At the 23rd CIIF, we are showcasing the fully automated titration robot, a leading domestic product that can achieve rapid titration of up to 80 samples through three channels," said an employee at Shanghai INESA.
