Hefei firm launches products for safer driving experience

High-tech manufacturer Hefei Jiangcheng Technology Co Ltd – based in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – recently unveiled what it described as a groundbreaking product.

It released its 3.6 TFT-LCD AR-HUD – Augmented Reality Heads-Up Display – in what it said made it the world's first company to offer the advanced technology.

The company has also introduced its Smart Rearview Mirror Solution (CMS) system products, in line with its aim to redefine the applications of intelligent networked vehicles.

The company said the 3.6 TFT-LCD AR-HUD solution is a globally exclusive development that specializes in providing a Heads-Up Display (HUD) interface.

Created through a partnership with BOE Technology Group Co Ltd, a leading Chinese display panel maker, the solution features a customized screen size and ratio, as well as core parameter definitions.

One of its standout features is said to be the original backlight coupling lens system, which ensures the highest industry standard for contrast and brightness.

The company says this allows drivers to enjoy a high-resolution, high-contrast and high-brightness image experience in both day and night conditions, improving road visibility and safety.

The CMS solution replaces traditional rearview mirrors with an advanced system that combines an HD camera mounted outside the vehicle and an in-vehicle display.

The technology aims to address common issues such as rain interference, blind spots and poor night vision. By adopting the solution, drivers can have a clearer and safer driving experience.
