August marks the first anniversary of the launch of Wuxi-Lianyungang-Central Asian freight trains, which have been offering a smooth channel for local businesses to export their products.

"The freight trains provide a strong support to our overseas expansion," said Zhou Yucheng, deputy director of customs clearance and logistics at Leyou New Energy and Materials Co. "In the first seven months of this year, Leyou's exports jumped 81 percent year-on-year to $356 million."
