Ceramic fair to present Zibo soft pottery art

The 23rd China (Zibo) International Ceramics Fair will take place from Sept 9 to 12 in Zibo, Shandong province.

The fair will take place at six venues, with the main venue located in the Zibo Convention and Exhibition Center.

More than 200 universities, enterprises, and studios from around the world will showcase their works at the main venue, which consists of Hall A, Hall B, and Hall D. Hall A will feature mainly glazed pottery, Hall B mainly ceramics, and Hall D mainly consumer goods, according to the event organizer.

A major highlight of the exhibition is an art installation by Zibo Xiaoxiami Ceramic Art Creation at Hall A.

The company will showcase a Zibo barbecue miniature set featuring miniature characters made of soft pottery designed by Wang Zhi, the founder of the company.

Besides the main venue, the fair will also take place at five sub-venues: the Zibo Taoliu National Art Museum, the China (Zibo) Ceramics Headquarters Base, Zibo Fortune Ceramics City, Li Ziyuan Art Center and the Boshan Ceramic Glazed Art Center.
