Dalian hosts fishing competitors from across the country for event

A fishing competition was held in Changhai county, Dalian, Liaoning province, from Saturday to Monday. The highlight was the capture of a 28-kilogram yellowtail amberjack, the heaviest catch among all the participants.

This event, jointly organized by Dalian's bureau of culture and tourism, bureau of sports, the Dalian Tourism Group, and the Changhai county government, attracted nearly a hundred fishing enthusiasts comprising 30 teams from across the country.

The fishing grounds for this competition were located in the eastern waters of Zhangzi Island in Changhai.

Known as a pollution-free marine area, this region boasts abundant fishing resources and serves as the primary habitat for nearly a hundred species of fish and offers excellent conditions for angling.
