Fohui Mountain Ecological Corridor Bridge opens

The Fohui Mountain Ecological Corridor Bridge officially opened on Sept 3 in Jinan, East China's Shandong province. This is the third ecological bridge of its kind in China, following the ones in Beijing and Shenzhen.

The Fohui Mountain Ecological Corridor Bridge connects the city's Fohui Mountain and Laohu Mountain, as well as two greenways in the Qianfo Mountain and Jinan Olympic Sports Center areas.

The 70-meter bridge is not only a path for residents to stroll and cycle, but also an immigration channel for small animals. Tiny pools of water, fruits, stones and shelters have been placed along the bridge for these creatures.

Equipped with Field HD infrared cameras, the bridge is also used to monitor wildlife in the area.
