Shanxi welcomes nod to 4 national modern circulation strategic pivot cities

Four cities in Shanxi province were recently listed as modern circulation strategic pivot cities. 

The plan for these cities emphasises serving the circulation of important commodities and resource elements, strengthening cross-domain and cross-border influence, and promoting the development of modern circulation. 

Taking into account their respective resources, development history, comparative advantages, and future potential, 102 cities in China have been included in the plan to reinvent them as modern circulation strategic pivot cities, including Taiyuan, Datong, Changzhi, and Linfen from Shanxi province. 

Shanxi will leverage the advantages of these cities with a well-developed circulation foundation and strong driving capability to promote the integration of commercial circulation, logistics, information and capital circulation, facilitate close connections between production and consumption, and accelerate the construction of a modern circulation network.
