Peach festival takes place in Feicheng

The one-month 16th China (Feicheng) Peach Festival will last until the end of September, according to a news conference on Aug 29.

This year's peach festival featured themes of rural vitalization, cultural inheritance, economic development, and tourism consumption, including 11 activities.

In addition to traditional peach picking and tasting, this year's festival includes traditional costume shows, music carnival, camping, and social parties.

A cooking competition will also be held during the festival, with excellent chefs making creative dishes with peaches, peach flowers, and peach kernels as materials to offer visitors a peach feast.

During the festival, a conference focusing on the inheritance and development of peach culture will also be held to improve the research ability on peach culture and to boost the influence of Feicheng peach carving.
