Hefei high-tech zone creates thriving environment for science education

The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, or the Hefei high-tech zone, located in Hefei, capital city of East China's Anhui province, has harnessed its resources and transformed itself into a popular science paradise.

The zone has organized popular science and technology education activities, including youth robotics competitions, and has implemented creative initiatives such as inviting top-notch professionals to promote science at Mengyuan Primary School.

Taking advantage of its high concentration of high-tech enterprises, the zone has introduced so-called "magic school buses" that takes students on tours of China's Speech Valley & Quantum Center and various high-tech enterprises.

Furthermore, the zone has collaborated with high-tech enterprises, universities, and institutions to establish open science bases for schools and the community.

The zone's new Hefei Science and Technology Museum offers interactive exhibitions and focuses on exploration, experiences, understanding, and innovation.

Additionally, the myopia prevention and control science and technology experience hall in the zone, constructed by Ovctek China Inc, serves as a space for students to learn about myopia prevention.
