Yangzhou Slender West Lake night tour receives provincial recognition

The night tour at Slender West Lake scenic area in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, has been shortlisted as a provincial demonstration smart cultural and tourism project, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and tourism announced on Aug 23.

The night tour project, which saw 120 million yuan ($16.38 million) spent on features such as drone shows and light shows, has attracted more than 700,000 visitors since it made its debut in 2021, generating ticket revenues of 62.7 million yuan.

The project is an outstanding example of the in-depth integration of culture and tourism.
