Global Investment, M&A Summit held in Hongqiao

The 10th Global Investment and M&A Summit and the 9th Golden Whistle Award Ceremony, with the tagline "Easy to Create Value", were held in Shanghai's Hongqiao Linkong Economic Park on Aug 22-23.

In his speech, Li Yong, deputy director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, said that mergers and acquisitions, as an important investment method, play a positive role in promoting industrial upgrading and enhancing corporate strength. Despite challenges brought by the recovery of the world economy, China's continuous promotion of high-level opening up still brings new opportunities for global cross-border mergers and acquisitions. 

Bao Bingzhang, executive deputy director of the Management Committee of Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, said the Hongqiao CBD, as a new leader in the development of the Yangtze River Delta and a key link in the domestic and international dual cycle, will unswervingly uphold the concept of openness, tolerance and innovation, provide enterprises with a better investment environment, and promote international mergers and acquisitions. 

The summit also held the launch ceremony of the "Great Hongqiao - Morning Whistle Global Investment M&A Online Project Library" and the unveiling ceremony of the Hongqiao Global Investment M&A Service Center and East Hongqiao Service Station. 

The global investment and acquisition online project library will provide investors with a convenient information platform to promote the transparency and convenience of investment and M&A activities, provide investors with more opportunities and information, and further promote investment cooperation in the Hongqiao area. 

The Hongqiao Global Investment M&A Service Center and East Hongqiao Service Station will provide investors and enterprises with comprehensive consulting and support services for investment, and are committed to providing efficient services to further optimize the business environment in Hongqiao.
