Laiwu garlic, ginger displayed in HK

Laiwu district participated in a Shandong agricultural projects promotional activity in Hong Kong on Aug 17 to promote its garlic and ginger industry.

The district was the only representative from Jinan to attend the event.

During the event, Xu Huixian, director of the agriculture and rural affairs bureau of Laiwu district, shared about the history, scale, processing, scientific research, and trade advantages of Laiwu's garlic and ginger industry, and invited attendees to invest in Laiwu.

Laiwu district is a national demonstration zone for the quality and safety of exported agricultural products and a strong county for modern agriculture in Shandong province.

According to Xu, Laiwu is aiming to further enhance overseas promotions of its garlic and ginger to attract foreign investment and cooperation, accelerate the development of the garlic and ginger industry, contribute to rural vitalization, and help more companies to go global.
