Ningbo, a co-host city for the upcoming 19th Asian Games, is eagerly preparing to welcome the international sporting event. With just 30 days left until the opening ceremony, the city is bustling with excitement.

The coastal county of Xiangshan in Ningbo will be hosting the Games' sailing and beach volleyball. Two stadiums, namely the Ningbo Xiangshan Sailing Centre and the Ningbo Banbianshan Beach Volleyball Centre, have been constructed to international standards.

Both stadiums have passed strict acceptance procedures. The construction of supporting facilities for the beach volleyball venue, including temporary stands, exhibition screens, and landscape arrangements, is progressing smoothly and is expected to be completed on schedule by the end of August.

The dredging work at the sailing center has been fully completed, ensuring optimal conditions for the sailing events. In addition, a meteorological service platform, consisting of 11 monitoring stations located in the surrounding sea areas, has been established and is currently undergoing trial operation.

The Asian Games Village branch in Ningbo is set to open its doors on Sept 16, providing accommodation and services for athletes during the Games.

In addition to venue construction, Ningbo is committed to improving its overall urban environment, public services, and other supporting infrastructure. The city has been decorated with Asian-Games-themed items, including the emblem, slogan, and mascots, amping the excitement up another notch.
