Autowell fosters business growth through technological innovation

Wuxi Autowell Technology Co Ltd, a leader in the fields of photovoltaics, lithium batteries, and semiconductors located in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District, reported remarkable growth in the first quarter with revenues surpassing 1 billion yuan ($137.6 million), marking a 66.27 percent year-on-year increase.

The company's products have been exported to over 40 countries and regions across the globe. The world's top 20 photovoltaic component enterprises are all Autowell's customers.

The company's robust market share owes much to its unwavering commitment to research and development, said Ni Defang, the company's deputy Party secretary.

In recent years, the company's annual investment in research and development has consistently exceeded 6 percent of its operating income and exceeded 200 million yuan last year. Autowell currently owns more than 1,200 authorized patents, including 70 patents for inventions.
