NETDA experiences innovative boost

An agreement was signed to build a collaborative innovation center in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province on July 31.

The center will be founded by the NETDA government, Nanjing Normal University, and Southeast University, and is intended to attract and nurture scientific and technological innovation projects.

It is designed to play a leading role in expanding the area's innovative capacity and advance industrial transformation and upgrading.

The center will also establish a Nantong branch of the Jiangsu Boiler Academy, which will be aimed at helping NETDA's major enterprises save 1,000 metric tons of standard coal per year.
