Green, low-carbon development conference to be held in Yantai

The 2023 Green, Low-carbon and High-quality Development Conference will be held in the coastal city of Yantai from Aug 28 to 30.

This year's event will be co-sponsored by the Shandong Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the China Association for Science and Technology.

Currently, China has responded actively to tackle climate change, and strives to build a clean, low-carbon, secure and efficient energy system. 

The country will also accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of its development modes, promote green production modes and lifestyles, and lay a foundation for high-quality green development.
