The world's first perovskite power station that integrates fish farming and photovoltaic power generation was recently connected to the grid in Yunxi township, Qujiang district, Quzhou.

Some of the perovskite α components used in the power station are the first water surface applications in the world, broadening the outdoor commercial application scenarios of perovskite components.

The power station can deliver 6.9 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity to the Qujiang power grid every year, reducing standard coal usage by 1,960 metric tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 5,290 tons, bringing both economic and environmental benefits.

The power station is an example of a composite photovoltaic power station, making full use of the spare space under the solar panels for fish farming and promoting the integrated development of green industries with traditional industries.

The total installed capacity of the power station is 8.3 megawatts and it received 45.28 million yuan ($6.3 million) in investment.
