Zhoushan releases action plan to optimize business environment

Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province launched an action plan on July 20 aimed at optimizing its business environment.

According to the plan, the city will complete more than 30 tasks and implement hundreds of measures to improve government services, its legal environment, market supervision, economic environment and humanistic environment.

In terms of strengthening government services, authorities will carry out eight tasks to advance the standardization and digitalization of government agencies, and streamline approval procedures for enterprises.

The local government will also adopt digital technologies to help enterprises deal with difficulties.

Authorities will establish a sound intellectual property protection system and marine data systems to improve Zhoushan's legal and market environments.

Authorities have been making efforts to expand its river-and-sea coordinated transport capacity as part of efforts to optimize the economic environment.

In addition, a special task force has been set up to ensure the measures can be implemented properly.
