50.4b yuan worth of investments signed in Kunming

In the first half of 2023, Kunming has signed investment agreements for 22 over-100-million-yuan($14 million) industry and information technology projects, 10 of which are over one billion yuan. The total investment has reached 50.43 billion yuan, according to Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Kunming.

New results have been achieved in attracting investments for industry and information technology. Over the first half of 2023, Kunming has actively introduced six major projects, including the silicon rod project undertaken by Yunnan Yuze Semiconductor Company.

Kunming also strives to foster a sound business environment, in an effort to promote the development of industrial clusters and  parks, and market entities.

Kunming will continue to promote the landing of high quality projects, to press for the commencement of contracted projects, to leverage target and intention enterprises to transfer to Kunming, and to seek to attract more than 80 billion funds for industrial projects, a spokesperson for the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Kunming said.
