The Harbin International Accordion Art Week, co-hosted by the Harbin municipal government and the International Accordion Association of UNESCO, is running in Harbin, the capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, on July 26-30.

The prestigious international music festival has a long history. In April 2010, it was included as one of the key events in the Harbin Charming Summer Music Fair series, and it has already been successfully held for five consecutive sessions.

This year's event has attracted 42 judges from China, Russia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Italy, and elsewhere, as well as 423 participants from six nations.

With the full participation and strong support from the International Accordion Association, this year's event reaches new heights in terms of authority and professionalism.

Through special performances, masterclasses, and instrumental competitions, it provides a platform for accordion artists and enthusiasts from various countries to enhance their understanding, exchange skills, and collaborate.

At the opening ceremony on July 26, renowned accordionists such as Yuri Shishkin, a distinguished Russian artist, and Tian Jianan, a young accordion teacher from the Central Conservatory of Music, presented exciting performances.
