Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province recently unveiled four boutique summer travel routes focusing on the Grand Canal, intangible cultural heritage experience, leisure tour and cultural tour, respectively.
The details of the three-day Grand Canal-themed tour are as follows:
As a city along the Grand Canal, Yangzhou boasts many canal cultural heritage items. On the first day, participants will visit places of interest along the North Moat including the Tianning Temple, Yechun Garden and the Shi Kefa Memorial House as well as Dongguan Street and Geyuan Garden.
Geyuan Garden is also holding a series of night tour activities during the summer.
The second day consists of visits to the China Grand Canal Museum and Guazhou Ancient Town, which include the Zhang Ruoxu Memorial House and Ancient Ferry Park.
The third day includes visits to Slender West Lake scenic area and the Daming Temple, which are best known for their classical gardens.
