Two villages in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province have been included on the list of provincial key villages for rural tourism, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced.
One village is Hanjiang district's Yijia village, which features historical sites, folk customs and intangible cultural heritages.
The village is best known for its beef-stewing techniques, which have been practiced for more than 400 years.
The other village is Tai'an town's Huafeng village, which has an afforestation rate of 75 percent and was named a national forest village in 2020.
The village is an ideal destination for anyone interested in boutique homestays and camping sites.
