Anhui's first science and technology business incubator Hefei High-tech Pioneer Park has become a starting point for many alumni from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) to start businesses.

The park has incubated dozens of USTC alumni enterprises and transformed a number of scientific and technological achievements from the laboratory into products.

At the park, teams led by academicians Pan Jianwei, Guo Guangcan and Du Jiangfeng from USTC commercialized their quantum R&D results and established QuantumCTek, Origin Quantum and CIQTEK, respectively, which have become famous quantum technology companies.

The initial investment and R&D costs are relatively high for high-tech startups. In order to create a better entrepreneurial environment for USTC teachers and students, the park has been striving to provide them with a full range of high-quality services. For example, various incubation funds have been set up to help enterprises in the park get financing.
