Sunshine Healthcare Group, a Hefei-based listed healthcare company, started construction on its healthcare industrial park in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on Dec 30.

With a total investment of 600 million yuan ($92.82 million), the industrial park will cover 46,000 square meters. After completion, it will include areas for medical device production, IVD vitro diagnostic reagent production, purification workshops, biomolecular diagnosis, research and development, genetic testing, as well as advanced medical projects.

According to Sunshine Healthcare, the company will take full advantage of favorable policies that can be enjoyed in the Anhui free trade zone where the industrial park is located, as well as expand cooperation with domestic and overseas medical institutions to enhance its presence in the healthcare industry.

Sunshine Healthcare is one of the key overseas Chinese ventures in Anhui province, as well as one of the enterprises in the province that have attracted a large number of investments from Hong Kong and Macao.
