Taikang Insurance Group

Founded in 1996, Taikang Insurance Group is currently one of China’s largest insurance and financial services institutions. Based in Beijing, Taikang operates in three main business sectors: insurance, asset management, and health and elder care.

Taikang has a number of subsidiaries, including Taikang Life, Taikang Assets, Taikang Pensions, Taikang Community, Taikang Health and Tk.cn. It provides a range of services including life and health insurance, online property & casualty insurance, enterprise annuities, asset management, health and elder care, health management, and commercial real estate. As of the end of 2017, the group’s asset under management was over 1.2 trillion yuan. Over the past 22 years, Taikang has also served more than 225 million individuals and 340,000 companies, paying a total of 35.1 billion yuan in claims and 37.5 billion yuan in taxes. For 14 consecutive years, Taikang has ranked among China’s Top 500 Companies.

Over the years, Taikang has built a national network of 3,900 branches and sub-branches, gathered over 700,000 employees and agents, and built an online sales platform. The group now has sites in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Sanya, Suzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Xiamen, Shenyang and Changsha.
