Check out this Tang Dynasty (618-907) plate, whose center is carved with a six-petal-flower. The delicate white plate enables the blue and yellow glaze to take center stage.
It has a flaring rim and a flat bottom. The meticulously portrayed flower boasts intricate lines and vibrant colors, embodying the grandeur unique to Tang Dynasty craftsmanship.
The plate is in the permanent collection of the Shandong Museum.
