In Guangzhou, an architectural marvel is nearing completion: the Design Palace of Guangzhou, led by renowned architect He Jingtang, is poised to become the city's newest landmark.

Occupying 26,000 square meters, the building has earned the nickname "Floating Crystal Box" and is currently 95 percent complete, with a full unveiling ceremony expected in August.

The palace's striking facade, a harmonious blend of stainless steel 'thin gauze' box-like structures, creates a visually stunning landscape. Inside, it houses semi-outdoor activity spaces and lush green gardens, reflecting traditional Lingnan characteristics. At night, the complex becomes a beacon of light, creating a visual spectacle.

June 19 marked the inauguration of the Guangdong Media Tower in Guangzhou's Pazhou. The tower is a significant boost for the city's digital and innovative cultural industries. Notably, the building has received preliminary certification from LEED v4.1 O+M and has been designated as a Haizhu digital creative industry base.

Alongside a range of business facilities, including employee cafeterias, boutique coffee shops, fashionable tea houses, and convenience stores, the tower aspires to be a premier business center in Pazhou's central business district.

These new landmarks will showcase Guangzhou's modern urban aesthetics, and they are also set to stimulate the development of cultural activities, further solidifying the city's reputation as a design hub.
