Located in Huai’an, Jiangsu province, within the Huai’an Baima Lake National Wetland Park, the Baima Lake Wetlands covers the southern part of the Baima Lake, with a planned area of 27.96 square kilometers. It serves as a significant ecological node where the Huaihe River meets the Yangtze River.
It was listed as a Wetland of International Importance (Ramsar Site) in 2022.
