The Anhui Shengjin Lake National Nature Reserve is a permanent freshwater lake wetland located in Dongzhi county, Anhui province. It spans an area of 33,333 hectares and is primarily dedicated to protecting the wintering grounds of rare birds, particularly the hooded crane (Grus monacha), as well as the overall wetland ecosystem.

Within the reserve, there are a total of 142 bird species, including 66 species of migratory birds that utilize the area for wintering. This reserve is recognized as one of the important wintering sites for cranes in China and holds the distinction of being the largest natural wintering ground for the hooded crane population worldwide.
