Yili continues to top BrandZ global ranking

Chinese dairy giant Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co, or Yili Group, has retained its top spot as the most valuable dairy brand in the world, according to the 2023 BrandZ Global Brand Ranking released by Kantar Group on June 14.

Yili has been consistently recognized for its innovation in dairy products, as well as sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. In particular, Yili has focused on expanding its product line composed of plant-based milk alternatives, which has resonated well with consumers looking for healthier, more sustainable options.

Yili has a precise insight into the changes in the industrial chain and the development pattern of the international market, and globally integrates elements of the entire industrial chain including milk sources, R&D, production, and logistics, while accelerating industrial integration, and joining hands with global partners to share development opportunities.

So far, Yili has established 75 production bases around the world, with more than 2,000 global partners, and its products sell well in more than 60 countries and regions.

In 2022, based on the advantages of the global supply chain network and strong endogenous growth potential, Yili achieved a total operating income of 123.17 billion yuan ($17.21 billion), and steady growth for 30 consecutive years. Notably, Yili's overseas business revenue also grew by 52.2 percent year-on-year.
