China's Wetlands of International Importance

Chen Lake Wetland Nature Reserve, located in Wuhan city, Hubei province, is an inland wetland and aquatic ecosystem nature reserve with a primary focus on conserving typical wetland ecosystems and rare waterfowl species.
In October 2013, it gained international recognition and was listed as a Wetland of International Importance (Ramsar Site).
