Haiyou Talent Festival to kick off in Jinan

The first Haiyou Talent Festival will be held in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, from June 12 to 18.

The event will attract more than 40 domestic and foreign academicians and feature professionals from all over the world showcasing their skills and wisdom.

The festival has scheduled a total of 206 activities in forms of forums, meetings, contests, roadshows and exhibitions.

To boost innovation and entrepreneurship and attract more overseas talents to start businesses in Jinan, the festival will launch an array of events themed on opening-up, such as the international youth exchange conference, cloud salons and the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Young Talent Summer Internship and Practice.

Other key activities will include the sixth China (Jinan) New Growth Drivers International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, internship offers for college students, matchmaking meetings, and promotion of sci-tech achievements.

The festival will strive to create immersive experiences for participants through a host of cultural performances, music festivals, marathons, holiday retreats, parent-child leisure, group purchases and shopping discounts.
