4 incubators in Hefei high-tech zone upgraded to national level

Four incubators in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei city, capital of Anhui province, have made the 2022 list of national incubators.

The list was recently released by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The four new national science and technology business incubators in the zone are the Zhong'an Chuanggu Incubator, the Hefei High-tech Digital Economy Incubator, the Guoke Juntong Collaborative Innovation Industrial Park and the Shidai Zhigu Technology Business Incubator.

As an innovation and entrepreneurship hub in Anhui, the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has 42 incubators (18 at the national level, accounting for 26 percent of the province's total), 33 maker spaces (14 at the national level, accounting for 20 percent of the province's total), over 10 accelerators and industrial parks, as well as 85 incubation carriers.

In total, there are 6,515 incubated companies and an incubation area measuring some 6 million square meters in the zone.
