Taixing expands trade cooperation in Europe

A delegation from the Taixing High-tech Zone, located in Taixing city in East China's Jiangsu province, paid a visit to six enterprises and associations in Europe from May 20 to 27, deepening its foreign economic and trade cooperation.

The delegation visited the Italy China Council Foundation, or ICCF, on May 20 and staged discussions on building a Sino-Italy cooperation industrial park.

It also visited the renowned Italian brand supplier, G&B company, on May 21. The company possesses 160 brand supply channels in different countries, and its turnover last year exceeded 500 million euros ($534.62 million).

On May 23, a visit was made to Adler Pelzer Group, who invested into an automotive precision component manufacturing project in the Taixing High-tech Zone last June.

Adler Pelzer Group CEO Pietro Lardini said that the group will establish a new industrial manufacturing base in Taixing, which is expected to begin construction in October.

The delegation then went on visit the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME) on May 25 to talk about new technology cooperation, industrial chain support, and Taixing-made products.

BME is the largest procurement and logistics association in Europe, with nearly 8,000 members, and is an important bridge for linking European investments.
