China's Biodiversity: Hubei's Wufeng Houhe National Nature Reserve

The Wufeng Houhe National Nature Reserve is situated in Yichang city, hubei. Covering a total area of 10,340 hectares, it is known for its complex and transitional natural geography, which gives rise to a diverse range of biological resources. This reserve serves as a unique transition zone between the North Subtropical and Central Subtropical regions, showcasing the distinctive vegetation of both areas. It is also recognized as the core area of the "Eastern Sichuan-Western Hubei Unique Phenomena Center," a significant hub for unique seed plant phenomena in China.
