China's Biodiversity: Wetland biodiversity conservation in Chongqing's Liangping district

The Liangping district in Chongqing has long been known as a city where wetlands and urban areas coexist harmoniously. With a current wetland area of nearly 20,000 hectares, it is the only city in the southwestern region of China to be honored with the title of "International Wetland City."
