China's Biodiversity: Fujian's Wuyi Mountain National Park

Wuyi Mountain National Park, located in northwest Fujian province, China, holds the dual distinction of being a UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site for its cultural and natural significance.

With a total area of 1001.41 square kilometers, including 210.7 square kilometers of pristine primary forest, it boasts the largest and most unspoiled subtropical primary forest ecosystem along the same latitude worldwide.
