Nanjing served as the capital of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) at the beginning of its establishment, from 1368 to 1421. On May 18, the Nanjing Municipal Museum launched an exhibit on the history of the Ming Dynasty in Nanjing. A total of 210 cultural relics are on display, highlighting military affairs, politics, the economy, culture and lives at the time Zhu Yuanzhang (r. 1368-98) established and ruled the dynasty. The exhibit will run through Aug 27.
