SND delegation visits Europe to promote economic, trade ties

Song Changbao, director of the management committee of Suzhou New District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, recently led a delegation to Switzerland and the Netherlands to strengthen economic and trade ties.

Song introduced SND's superior business environment at investment promotion conferences held in the two countries.

The SND delegation visited the headquarters of local enterprises and talked with senior leaders at these companies about deepening cooperation in high-end equipment manufacturing, special coating, auto parts, and new energy, as well as winning over new projects.

After learning about the new opportunities brought about by SND's rapid development, Sulzer, KeyTec, Stahl, and other overseas partners showed strong interest in the district, revealing their desire to expand investment.

CEO of KeyTec, manufacturer of high-precision metal parts, said that the company will consolidate economic and trade cooperation with SND by introducing new projects and technologies to the district, while senior leaders of Sulzer, a global leader in fluid engineering, also noted that the company will advance its exchanges and cooperation with SND and expand its operations in China.

This year, SND has sent delegations to Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan, South Korea, and Shenzhen to attract investment in an effort to accelerate the clustering of industries.
