12th Guangzhou Friendship Games kicks off

The 12th Guangzhou Friendship Games takes place at the Tianhe Sports Center.

The 12th Guangzhou Friendship Games took place at the Tianhe Sports Center from May 20 to 21, attracting nearly 500 participants from over 70 countries and regions.

The event featured six sports events including basketball, seven-a-side football, tennis, badminton, table tennis, and bowling. 

Participants displayed great enthusiasm, creating a friendly and joyful atmosphere. Since its establishment in 1998, the Guangzhou Friendship Games has aimed to foster exchanges and deepen friendships between residents and foreign friends, showcasing the spirit of openness and inclusivity in Guangzhou.
