Huangpu district enters top 10 in China's district rankings

The Huangpu district of Guangzhou - the capital city of South China's Guangdong - has been ranked 10th among the top 100 districts nationwide.

That's according to the recently released 2023 Report on High-Quality Development of Chinese Districts under Direct Jurisdiction.

Huangpu reportedly stood out because of its competitive edge in innovation, industry, and business environment. It has developed strategic platforms including the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), Guangzhou Science City, the Maritime Silk Road City, and Guangzhou International Bio Island - demonstrating a strong momentum of development.

Moving forwards, plans are for Huangpu to continue to strive to become a model of Chinese-style modernization.
