Huangpu district recently unveiled its power supply reform, which will optimize the business environment of industrial parks under its jurisdiction.

The plan outlines new regulations and standards regarding power supply reform, including charging fees, transformation modes, and subsidy standards. Its goal is to reduce the cost of electricity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Moreover, Huangpu has launched a platform to ensure unified management, metering devices, and charging rules. This platform will upgrade the digital management system and monitor energy consumption across all industrial parks within the district.

Companies can use the platform to check their electricity usage, billing details, and park-wide consumption. They will also be able to verify charging standards and bills. Once utilized, these reforms will be more convenient for park management, make information more transparent, and introduce smarter metering devices and billing systems.

Huangpu plans to complete the installation of these new metering devices and hand over access to the platform to SMEs in State-owned industrial parks by the end of December and will complete this plan for other industrial parks by the end of June 2024.
