Quzhou companies reap benefits at Canton Fair

Companies from Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, received $35.48 million in intended orders at the 133rd Canton Fair, which concluded on May 5.

A total of 167 companies from the city set up 130 booths online and onsite, covering 33 exhibition areas, including those for building and decorative materials, kitchen utensils, office stationery, and sports, tourism and leisure supplies, with nearly 4,000 exhibits.

The companies were visited by more than 880 people from 51 countries and regions, including the US, Germany, Italy and South Africa.

Through face-to-face communication, customers can see the products and better understand what they are buying. This time, the company received an order of about 10 million yuan ($1.44 million), said Lu Jianzhong, general manager of Quzhou Benneng Car Industry Co Ltd.

Zhejiang Sanhe Outdoor Equipment Technology Co Ltd, which mainly sells outdoor products such as tents to countries like the United States, Japan and Germany, received over 90 inquiries during the fair.

Quzhou Lefei Trade Co Ltd, an exhibitor of sports, tourism and leisure supplies, received $800,000 in purchases on May 3.
